It is very hard to stereotype an otaku. As Japanese pop culture spreads from Japan into and throughout America, Europe, and many other countries, otakus become more and more diverse. This diversity is what will makes conversing about anime interesting; however, sometimes conversations will turn into debates, and sometimes those debates in the forums may get a little heated.
